About this event
CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival returns for its 2026 edition under the theme Carnival of the Black Sun. From August 10–16, Nationalism Park and Black Star Square will become a vibrant meeting place for street art, installations, murals, live music, performance, dance, fashion, film, food and cultural expression. The week-long festival brings together Ghanaian and international artists while creating an open platform for experimental art, public participation and contemporary African storytelling. Daily activities and performance times will vary. Follow the organizer’s programme for specific schedules. Please note: General festival access is not charged through Akwaaba App, but selected workshops, tours or activities may require separate registration or payment.
