TRIP PLANNER TERMS
ASSUMPTION OF RISK The Participant acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, illness, loss of property, and unforeseen circumstances. The Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks.
INDEMNIFICATION The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the Participant’s actions, negligence, or participation in the tour.
MICE & Akwaaba App: Enhancing Business Tourism
The Akwaaba App streamlines MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) in Ghana by connecting professionals to top events, networking opportunities, and curated local experiences. From accommodations to leisure, it ensures a seamless and productive stay.
INSURANCE The Participant acknowledges that it is their responsibility to obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance. Akwaaba App strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive insurance coverage.
PAYMENT PLANS Akwaaba App offers favorable payment plans upon request to provide flexible options for Participants. Please contact us for more details on available payment arrangements.
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to hold your spot on the tour. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment plan or by the specified due date.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, oral or written, regarding the subject matter herein.
By booking a tour with Akwaaba App, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Travel and Tour Contract.
CANCELATION POLICY
Clients must submit cancellations in writing via email. Refunds are structured as follows:
Organizer Cancellation
In exceptional cases (e.g., force majeure, low bookings), a full refund or rebooking option will be provided. The organizer is not responsible for non-refundable personal expenses.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances is highly recommended.
Payment Terms

Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days, minus applicable bank or transfer fees.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must meet all travel requirements, including visas and vaccinations. Non-compliance does not entitle refunds.
Health Requirements
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for Ghana entry and should be administered at least 10 days before travel. Malaria medication is strongly recommended.
Weather & Packing Tips
Ghana has a tropical climate with a rainy season from April to October. Pack lightweight clothing, rain gear, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent.
Travel & Visa Information
Visitors must have a valid visa and passport with at least six months of validity. Visas can be single or multiple entry, with application deadlines recommended in October.
