Your Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Accra, Ghana

Arrive at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, where your dedicated cultural tour guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel. You'll receive a warm welcome and orientation on your Ghanaian journey.

Day 2
Discover Accra

After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Accra. Highlights include:

  • W.E.B. Du Bois Centre

  • Flagstaff House (Ghana's presidential palace)

  • Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (featuring a night-lit fountain, amphitheater, and museum)

  • The bustling Arts & Crafts Centre for African fashion and souvenirs

  • Independence (Black Star) Square

During dinner, our on-site tailors will take your measurements for custom African outfits.

Day 3
Journey to the Ashanti Kingdom

Travel through Ghana’s lush forest belt to Kumasi. Upon arrival, explore:

  • Manhyia Palace Museum – the royal residence-turned-museum of the Ashanti Kings.

  • Hotel: Lancaster Hotel Kumasi

  • Meals: Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner

Day 4
Kumasi Craft Villages

(Optional: Attend a local church service in the morning.)
Then journey into the countryside to visit:

  • Adawomase – Watch the intricate weaving of colorful Kente cloth.

  • Ntonso – Learn Adinkra stamping techniques and create your own sash.

  • Visit the community chief (subject to availability).

Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner at one of Kumasi’s top restaurants.

Day 5
Slave River to Cape Coast – Tracing the Path of Ancestors

Visit Assin Manso Slave River, where enslaved Africans took their last bath. Then travel to Cape Coast to explore:

  • Cape Coast Castle – A UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the powerful “Door of No Return.”

Evening at leisure in Elmina.

  • Hotel: Coconut Grove Beach Resort

  • Meals: Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner

Day 6
Elmina Castle & Reconnection Ceremonies

Start the day with yoga and meditation on the beach. Then, visit:

  • Elmina Castle – A profound experience through West Africa’s largest slave-holding castle.

  • Participate in a Fihankra Ceremony – A sacred cultural ritual for reconnection and healing.

  • Take part in a traditional naming ceremony at the Elmina Chief’s Palace. (All guests are requested to wear white.)

  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 7
Kakum Canopy Walk & Farewell Dinner

Explore Kakum National Park, including:

  • Forest floor tour of flora and fauna

  • Thrilling canopy walkway – Africa’s only suspended rainforest bridge network

Return to Accra in the afternoon. Conclude your trip with a special farewell dinner—wear your new custom African attire!

Day 8
Departure – Until We Meet Again

After breakfast, spend your final morning at leisure. Then check out and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
